Het wereldberoemde Harlem Gospel Choir staat synoniem voor een krachtige stemgeluid, waanzinnige sound en enorme energie. Het Gospel koor is al bijna 4 decennia het meest toonaangevende koor van America en heeft het publiek over de hele wereld geïnspireerd met hun prachtige Gospel muziek.

Het Harlem Gospel Choir heeft opgetreden met supersterren als Bono, Diana Ross, The Gorillaz, André Rieu. Meer recent zijn zij de samenwerking aangegaan met Sam Smith, Damon Albarn en Pharrell Williams. Het koor heeft voor drie Amerikaanse presidenten opgetreden, twee pauzen en heeft in de studio gestaan met sterren als Keith Richards, The Chieftains en Trace Adkins.

Na de alom geprezen “Harlem Gospel Choir sings Nina Simone” tour in 2022 komt het koor in 2023 terug met de “Celebrating 60 years of Whitney Houston”. Het concert wordt een ode aan deze beroemde zangeres waarbij al haar grootste hits voorbijkomen in combinatie met het gospel repertoire van het fantastische koor.

The world-famous Harlem Gospel Choir is synonymous with powerful vocal style, glorious sound and infectious energy. For almost 4 decades, they have been America's premier gospel choir and have toured the globe thrilling audiences with the inspirational power of black gospel music.

Harlem Gospel Choir have performed alongside superstars such as Bono from U2, Diana Ross, The Gorillaz, Andre Rieu and most recently Sam Smith, Damon Albarn and Pharrell Williams. They have performed for three USA presidents (President Obama, President Carter and President Nelson Mandela), two popes (Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI) and have recorded with the likes of Sir Keith Richards, The Chieftains, and Trace Adkins.

After the acclaimed 2022 tour “Harlem Gospel Choir sings Nina Simone”, in 2023 they are touring with the special project “Celebrating 60 years of Whitney Houston”, an homage to the 60^th anniversary from the renowned singer’s birth, performing some of the greatest hits of hers in parallel to the vocal ensemble’s gospel repertoire.
